A Little Bit About Ninja Kitten Toys....

- Ninja Kitten Toys was created in January of 2004. My partner in crime and Co-President, Kevin Jones and I decided we wanted to make a difference in the lives of cats everywhere by offering a line of products that were distinguished by their quality, durability and design. We noticed and were both disappointed by the lack of quality and consideration that was given to cat toys that were offered in pet shops and on the internet. We decided to market my family's Catnip Rat Toy as a starting point and to develop a company that has both its consumers and the environment in mind.

We have heard horror stories about toys that were unsafe for cats from our veterinarians. We heard of cats eating parts of the toys and having very painful problems as a result - problems from plastic toys that result in surgeries or worse... Our toys are very safe and recommended by our veterinarians.

Our first product offering, the Catnip Rat Toy, was designed by my mother in 1986. She and I have been making these toys every Christmas for our cats for eighteen years! My mother had the same problem that all cat owners do - the toys that are offered on the market are unsafe, poorly made and lack quality catnip. We bring you her vision, a catnip toy that actually contains 100% certified organically-grown catnip with no extra filler materials!

We design all of our products with the cat psyche in mind. We know what cats love and what holds thier attention because we have studied thier behaviors since we were children. The kitties that have touched our lives were our playmates and taught us about how to have fun!

Our toys are safe, hand made and durably constructed to last about a year and will quickly become a staple for your cat's toy basket. We recommend that you buy one Catnip Rat Toy per cat and replace your cats' rat every year. They make great stocking stuffers!

Kids love to play with thier kittens with these toys! They are great for both clawed and declawed cats and come in a variety of fun, funky fabrics! We also love to do custom work so if you have a particular fabric or design you want us to do let us know!
